Janice M. Dwyer, CFE

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, and has a dual major in Insurance and Marketing.

 

Prior to establishing the franchise division in 1992 at Luce Smith & Scott, Janice was a Casualty Territorial Manager for Crum & Forster Insurance for Seven years, and Casualty Underwriter with U.S.F&G for 6 years. While acting Vice President for an insurance brokerage facility in Cleveland, Ohio, she established her expertise in developing business insurance programs for franchise organizations.

 

With over 36 years of experience in insurance and 24 years specializing in insurance for the franchise committee.  Janice received her Certified Franchise Executive designation in 2001 and is currently involved with the Franchise Relations and VetFran committees of the International Franchise Association (IFA). She is a Charter member of IFA’s Educational Foundation, Franchise Veteran Scholarship Sponsor and past IFA Political Action Advisory Board Member.

 

Her speaking experience includes presentations on insurance at the American Bar Associations forum on franchising, the IFA legal symposium, IFA National Convention Speaker, IFA Business Network and Roundtable facilitator and Co-Chairman of the WFC Leadership Convention. She has made hundreds of presentations at franchise specific convention on how to apply risk management principles to small franchise owned companies.

 

Leading a team that services over 3,000 franchisee customers, together they have won numerous vendor of the year and dedicated service awards from several top franchisor organizations.
